Established in 1990, our Graduate Placement Program was developed in partnership with the University of Auckland’s Department of Marketing.
Now in its 27th year, the Programme has evolved to provide direct graduate recruitment across a range of industries although the core opportunities have been into the FMCG space.
This has been a key talent source for companies including Johnson & Johnson, Red Bull, SC Johnson, Mars, BIC and Samsung with many FMCG industry leaders starting their careers with us.
Client companies pay a fee for access to a pool of quality graduates, pre-screened and briefed by Saturn Group and the goals of the programme are:
- To help graduates find the right start to their careers.
- To make it easier for companies to develop a good talent pipeline.
Not all graduates go into marketing positions – in fact most go into roles with a variety of pathways to Sales, Supply Chain or Finance as well as Marketing. Most of the long-term clients for our programme find it significantly more effective to build long term talent from the start, than to try and meld other companies efforts into their culture.
